The transformation of a work process into a product

The Challenge

SOSA, an open innovation company, aimed to develop their in-house innovation management CRM into a scalable SaaS platform. They wanted to create a platform to manage the complexities of startup engagement while fostering a collaborative culture. This required balancing flexibility for users with robust capabilities for innovation leaders.

Role

As a Product Design Lead, I directed the team in analyzing the client's current workflow and translating it into actionable product features. Working closely with stakeholders and the product team, we iterated and perfected the platform’s concept and navigation from initial idea to final design.

Project Outcome

In just a few months, we built Savvy, a comprehensive SaaS platform for innovation management. Its intuitive interface enables teams to manage startup databases, score solutions, and track project outcomes. Technologies are scored, filtered, shortlisted, and converted into active pilots. The launch empowered clients to streamline their startup procurement processes and attracted new users previously unable to access SOSA's services.
