The challenge

Tealbook approached us to help ideate, design & prototype its new digital experience aiming to allow expressive access to and searching of large amounts of procurement data by mixing an LLM based chatbot interface, with data-rich features. We needed to bring as much value as possible in a time compreesed process of 2 sprints.

Role

As the main designer on the project, I worked closely with my design director to deliver impactful designs within a tight timeframe. I was the main hands-on designer for the project, which was both exciting and rewarding.

Project Outcome

By the end, we had a working prototype with about seven key screens, supporting the proof of concept for our idea. Building on and enhancing TealBook’s existing design, we visually designed the screens rather than just creating wireframes. The platform helps procurement teams discover new suppliers, gain insights into existing ones, and generate reports with key details like certifications, business info, industry, location, and more—along with AI-powered supplier recommendations.

To create a focused prototype that addresses TealBook’s most common user, we developed a user journey that guided the screen creation and ensured clear communication of the concept. We needed to understand how to transform a standard database search into a conversational experience with a chatbot.
